In-Depth Interview with Kurrent Music 2/10/17

Our recent in-depth interview with the fabulous Carrie Lowell, writer for Kurrent Music is live!

She asked awesome, scintillating questions and also said such nice things about us! Sampling below:

“Makar is the folk-rock duo of Andrea DeAngelis and Mark Purnell. Creating an impeccable brand of music, the group, who have been making waves the past several years, are gearing up for their latest release Fancy Hercules which will finally see the light of day in 2017. The musically charged duo pen poetic lyrics and mystical melodies that are thought-provoking and breathtaking all at once. This month we sat down with DeAngelis and Purnell from Makar, to catch up on their 2017 horizon.”

I Hate My Job on Double Shot with Joe & Sue on WXNA Nashville

MAKAR’s oldie but always relevant I Hate My Job was played on Double Shot with Joe & Sue on WXNA Nashville this past Saturday, February 11, 2017. Yee-haw!

Their show – Work Work Work  centered around that four letter word. We were played in the beginning of the show in-between such classics as Silhouettes’ “Get a Job” and The Rolling Stones’ “Factory Girl”!
