"New York indie rock act MAKAR features Andrea DeAngelis (vocals/guitar) and Mark Purnell (vocals/piano). The duo played their 1st gig together back in 2003 and produced their debut LP in 2005. Their work was included in NBT Music Radio's Top Tracks of 2012. They were also voted amongst the Best NY Indie Pop Bands by Deli Magazine in 2014.
